HIMOINSA announces its 13th global subsidiary after alliance with Australian company Generator Power. Representatives from Yanmar and HIMOINSA, distributors, customers, end users, have joined this celebration in Sydney.
Australia is one of the leading genset markets in Asia-Pacific, driven by mining industry, growing hospitality and service sectors. Although the mining industry was relatively down in the past years, there has been a recovery in international prices especially iron ore, which has triggered an upturn and would spur the genset market. According to research, the diesel genset market in Australia is projected to touch $765.4 million by 2022.
Francisco Gracia, Executive Director of HIMOINSA, is confident that the new HIMOINSA project in Australia “is the best bet to strengthen our positioning in Asia and Oceania”.
At present, HIMOINSA has established a subsidiary in Singapore (1998) and a production center in China (2006), the launch of the new subsidiary “is a solid commitment of the company’s expansion in APAC where HIMOINSA has been operating for more than 20 years”, adds Marco Perillo, APAC Region Head of HIMOINSA.
The collaboration between HIMOINSA and Generator Power in Australia started in 2012, and ‘we are delighted to establish our business alliance’, says Dave Robins, Executive Director of Generator Power. ‘Together, we are fully committed to provide exceptional levels of expertise, and to achieve world-class standards in delivering quality, reliable, on-time, accurate and customized one-stop power solutions.’
With locations in Sydney, Brisbane, and more in the pipeline, HIMOINSA’s 13th subsidiary Generator Power is always ready to deliver most prompt service from gensets sale and hire, design and construct, all the way to installation and after-sales service to evolve together with the Australian market.
